I have over 25 years of teaching/research experience as a faculty member and former administrator. My doctoral degree was received from the University of Cincinnati; undergraduate and master’s degrees were earned at Florida A & M University. I enjoy sharing my research in health promotion, cultural identity, and dating violence prevention; I have presented at community forums and professional conferences. My publications range from encyclopedia entries to book chapters in edited volumes.
